The Dos and Don’ts of Time Travel

zach-ddtt-photo-10

Zach Rosing Productions just completed a series of video elements for the Phoenix Theatre’s current production The Dos and Don’ts of Time Travel.

Ever wish you had a magical “do-over” button to make everything perfect in your relationship? Zoey, who lives with Sally Bowles abandon and Holly Golightly charm, learns to time travel through sheer force of will. She continually comes back to her partner Claire, a more traditional soul, hoping to end up somewhere in time when everything is perfect in their lives.

The Dos and Don’ts of Time Travel runs Thursday-Saturday July 16th thru August 15th. Visit www.phoenixtheatre.org for more details.

Video Honored by White House

Sheltering Wings, a domestic violence women’s shelter located in Danville, IN, was honored by the White House Faith-Based and Community Initiatives during their Innovations in Effective Compassion Conference held on June 26th and June 27th in Washington, D.C.

In May of 2008 the shelter had an opportunity to enter its children’s video, titled The Need For Change Is Now, in the Portraits of Compassion video contest, sponsored by the Health and Human Services division of the White House Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Zach Rosing Productions originally produced this video in April of 2007.

This video was selected in the top four Honorable Mentions received throughout the United States and was premiered during the conference. Speakers included the President of the United States George W. Bush as well as many other national and state dignitaries.

A winning version of The Need for Change is Now can be viewed at the Department of Health and Human Services website, and the original video can be viewed above.

This moving pop opera gives audiences members a chance to take a look at teen life in a way not often portrayed on stage. As the curtain rises on this energetic musical you are witnessing a story that is already in full motion. Jason and Peter are in love, but struggle with keeping their relationship a secret as they attend Catholic boarding school.

From speech class and confession by day to raves and the abuse of communion wine by night, the lives of these two boys and their friends are explored and dissected as they try to navigate the maze know as high school.
